Steve Dalton Number 3 Bat
Lob Bowler

Nickname:
Age: 45
Occupation: RAF Policeman
Best Moment In Cricket: Taking Box CC 2nd XI from the bottom of the league to consistent top 3 finishers
Worst Moment In Cricket: Batting a whole season without scoring a single run!
Best Player Played With: Mike Womersley (RHKP Sentinels) - an effortless bat and lightening close catcher whilst in his 50's and Gerry Rose (Box CC) a West Indian visitor (in his late 40's) played for 1 season - his batting was sublime (thanks to great timing) and who was very very sharp of only 4-5 paces
Most Difficult Opponent: IRC (Indian Recreation Club) in HK League - they could bat out for a draw after only 5 overs, they hardly ever won a game but never lost one (we never beat them)!
Ambitions: To still be playing in my 60's
Biggest Influence: My father Maurice Dalton (Derbyshire Club & Ground, Spondon CC, Collingham CC & S Clifton CC) - a wicket keeper and tail end bat but a true enthusiast for the game
Other Interests: Rugby, old cars, motor racing, film & theatre
Favourite Food:
Caroline's lasagne
